ABOUT
I'm a multilingual, passionate visual artist and professional currently based in London (United Kingdom). As a people person, I'm easy to connect with and I can listen to you carefully, patiently. I'm a diverse communicator, positive minded, and strive after achieving the ultimate - motivating others along the way. Fellow team members praise me for having a fine eye for detail, aesthetic and balanced composition. They describe me as an energetic and flexible team player with a creative and hardworking mindset, not afraid to take the lead.
As a young girl, I developed a profound love for the natural world and in particular for the oceans. I knew I wanted to contribute to a more sustainable planet. This only grew stronger during worldly explorations, below and above the ocean surface, observing firsthand a plethora of environmental and social issues. My education provided me with the fundamentals to understand these problems and think in solutions.
I have a diverse background with experience in different areas and roles:
-
2/3 yr Managing creative projects from start to finish for live-scribing, visualisation and animation services for a diverse range of clients. Also working with Account managers to scope projects with clients and create creative solutions to diverse briefs.
-
0,5 yrs Leading research and writing up of an academic paper on SDG 14 Life Below Water, collaborating with researchers from the Smithsonian Institution, University of Baja California, and University of Bergen.
-
2,5 yrs Project managing a multi-layered research project within an international NGO, tracking timelines, deliverables and budgets, liaising with stakeholders and consultants, organising and hosting workshops, developing communication strategies and producing creative communication outputs. Assisted the Principal Scientist with the development of an open-access tool for data-limited fisheries.
-
Coached teams during the Oceanthon 2021;
-
0,5 yr Analysed contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals of a sustainable
fisheries certification program. Findings presented at the World Sustainability Forum 2020.
-
0,5 yr Performed underwater coral reef research on Saba (Dutch Caribbean island), collected data and led technical dives;
-
0,5 yr Assisted the Managing Director of a creative brand strategy and digital studio in art direction, copy-writing, user-testing, creative project management, initiated a new service and led the development of a sustainable design principles guide;
-
0,25 yr Collaborated in an MSc. student- led consultancy team with two sustainable seafood NGOs, led sub-groups in collecting interview data and produced creative outputs as part of the content team, such as a photographic gallery, an educational short film, illustrations and visual presentations;
-
0,5 yr Being part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team, I executed an improved cook stove design project in rural Ghana to improve the health of local woman and increase environmental sustainability of traditional cooking methods. Facilitated workshops on the application of the Business Model Canvas.

Growing up in a multicultural (Italian/Dutch) family enabled me to be highly adaptive to new environments, learn fast and be naturally drawn to diversity. This is continuously stimulated by travelling around the globe and participating in multi-cultural projects abroad.

An insatiable curiosity for the world around me drives me to always keep asking 'why' and wanting to learn more.
